I’m looking for a like-minded professional to rent my spare room. I am hoping for a female, preferably aged 25-50.

The house is a 3 story town house. The main bathroom being on the middle floor next to the room for rent, so you will have your own toilet and shower (the bath will be communal). The room isn’t strictly en-suite but you will have a bathroom to use.

The property is next to a canal on a lovely estate, so there are really nice walks /cycling routes we and we’re also in the middle of 3 train stations, Smethwick Galton Bridge (20 min walk), The Hawthorns (8min walk) and Rolfe St (10 mins walk). It take about 15 mins to drive into the city centre and about £10 £15 in a taxi.

I’m 39 and I work two jobs full time so I am out of the house during daytime through the week.

I have four cats, who come and go pretty much as they please. I also have a snake. I don’t really want to introduce any more pets into the house but this is something I may be willing to consider for the right person. This room is not suitable for people who don't like cats.

I’m very easy going, a bit quirky and alternative, but do keep a fairly tidy house and expect the lodger to keep their space clean and contribute to weekly household chores. I have a cleaner once a fortnight who cleans my spaces and the communal kitchen. Please note: the cleaner will not clean your room or bathroom-although you are welcome to hire her to clean your space if you would like.

The property is in a quiet cul-de-sac, has ample off-street parking, security cameras, dishwasher and WiFi. All bills are included.

The postcode is B66, on the corner of Lewisham and Middlemore Rd. I am happy to conduct viewings over Video call for people if the genuinely can’t make a viewing in person.

I am negotiable on the price for the right housemate, so please get in touch if the property suits you.

Weekday lets are good for me and will be charged at £500 per month.
