Spacious double en-suite loft room in friendly, quiet house. Located in King Heath, a vibrant urban village, in South Birmingham. All bills and WiFi included with rent.
The room has recently been renovated with new en-suite and walk in shower. New Velux windows, double glazing, blackout blinds, new insulation throughout, new lighting and carpet. Built in drawer unit and wardrobe. Very comfortable bed, study area (desk and chair), clothes storage, music system and TV.
We have a large, modern kitchen/dining room with a relaxing sitting 'living' area. Full use of patio and garden. There’s also a utility room with washing machine.
I share the house with my son, who works long shifts as a paramedic.

This room would suit somebody who is working or an older student. Perhaps a postgraduate. We have often welcomed guests who are relocating from overseas. The experience we provide is friendly, peaceful and welcoming but not intrusive. People who stay with us, immediately feel at home and relaxed. We often share meals and stories together over a drink.
Rent payable on first day of stay, one month in advance.
Free parking on street by house or on very nearby streets.
Kings Heath is a vibrant urban village, in South Birmingham, with amazing independent cafes, bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Listed as one of the best places to live in the West Midlands by Muddy Stilletos.
Easy train, bus or bike ride to city theatres. The Hare and Hounds, the Kitchen Garden Café, Fletchers and The Station have regular live music. Other bars have pop up kitchens and stock independent local beers. Several supermarkets nearby including Sainsbury’s, Lidl, Asda and Marks and Spencer. The Gym Group gym is at the end of the street.
The area has lovely green spaces, with Kings Heath, Park, Highbury Park and Canon Hill Park nearby. It’s only a couple of miles to Edgbaston Cricket Ground.
Transport into Birmingham city centre is easy:
• Regular bus services on the 50 and 35 – 5 minute walk.
• Kings Heath train station (new !) – 6 minute walk. Train takes 17 minutes to New St.
• Good cycling routes into the city via National Cycle Route 5, through various parks and the cycling ‘superhighway’ on the Bristol Rd.
