Double room:
£625pcm

Please note: photos currently show previous housemate's belongings still in the room, once they move out the room will retain core furniture, but not include rugs, clothes, decorations etc.

The room:
Lovely front-facing double bedroom available in a friendly, clean and well-connected house, just a short walk from Chester Road train station. The room is spacious with furniture provided (chest of drawers, wardrobe, new bed (2026), new mattress (2025)).

The room comes with an additional smaller room, included in the rent, which you can use however you like. The previous tenant used it as an art space, but it could also work as a home office, creative space, dressing room or extra storage. I’ve included photos of it set up as both an office and an art space for reference.

Shared lounge, kitchen, bathroom and garden.

The location:
The public transport links are genuinely great. Trains from Chester Road into Birmingham New Street are very regular and the journey is usually around 12–15 minutes. The number 66 bus stops directly outside the house and goes into town, including towards Birmingham City University. The number 7 bus from Perry Common into town is also only around a 5-minute walk away, and because it’s the first stop on the route, you’ll pretty much always get a seat!

The house:
- Fast Virgin Media internet (500mbps)
- Kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, shared cooking equipment and plenty of storage
- Shared living room with Netflix, Prime and Disney+ on the TV
- Access to loft space for storing extra bits
- Bills included: gas, electric, water, council tax, internet, etc
- Unreserved on-street parking
- External security cameras at the front and back of the house, which you can access through an app on your phone.

Housemates:
You’ll be sharing with myself and one other housemate, so there will be three of us in total.

I work in content marketing and communications. I’m social, considerate and clean, and I’m usually out of the house Monday to Friday between around 9–6. I work the odd day from home and I’m often away visiting my girlfriend on some weekends.

My housemate works for a social housing organisation, works hybrid, and loves board games. Please note: she also has a very cute and well-behaved cat, so hopefully you’re a cat person!

Location and amenities:
- Two corner shops on the same road, supermarkets available in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Boldmere
- PureGym within walking distance
- Short walk from Sutton Park and Boldmere.

Any questions, just drop me a message.

Couples may be considered, but there would be a slight increase in monthly rent to account for extra bills usage.

Short term rents accepted (3 months min) - rent & deposit must be fully paid in advance and there may be a slight rent adjustment depending on duration of stay.
