I'm offering a reduced rate (450 pm, bills included) to sublet my room for July and August. The flat is extremely convenient right on Bristol Road, the commercial strip of Selly Oak, just moments from transportation, shopping, pubs, restaurants, and the U of B'ham campus. My room is in back, however, so it's protected from street noise. It's also on the second level, so removed from the common areas. I have 3 flatmates, all male postgraduates, friendly, cooperative, and quiet. The flat was refurbished in August 2023 and includes a washing machine. The room is furnished with bed, desk, good desk chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and clothes drying rack. The room will be also be available for a full year beginning on 1 September, but that tenancy would have to be arranged with the landlord. (She prefers 3rd years or post graduates.) My current rent is 525 pounds pm, bills included, and I assume next year's will be the same. But, again, the sublet rate for July and August is only 450 pm.
