I'm looking for two friendly, considerate women to share my lovely three bedroom home in the heart of Cotteridge.
I've recently bought the house and I'm in the process of giving it a fresh new feel before anyone moves in. Both available bedrooms are spacious doubles, and everything will be brand new, including mattresses, furniture and carpets, so you'll be one of the first to enjoy the space.
Although I'll technically be a live in landlady, I was offered an opportunity at work I couldn’t turn down so will continue to work in London. I'll only be back roughly once a month (if that), staying in the small loft room, so you'll essentially have the house to yourselves most of the time. I also travel quite a lot during school holidays.
I'm hoping to create a calm, clean and homely environment where everyone feels comfortable and at home.
The House
Two spacious double bedrooms
£800 per month, including all bills and council tax
Two bathrooms (upstairs bathroom with a bath, downstairs bathroom with a shower)
Large sunny garden with an apple tree, perfect for relaxing, reading or enjoying a morning coffee
Bathroom Renovation
The bathrooms both work perfectly well, but I'd like to modernise them. The refurbishment is booked for September, with only one bathroom being renovated at a time, so you'll always have access to a fully functioning bathroom.
As a thank you for your patience during the work, the rent will be reduced to £640 per month until both bathrooms are complete, before returning to the normal £800 per month (including all bills).
The Area
Cotteridge is such a lovely place to live, with a real community feel. The house is just a short walk from Cotteridge Park, perfect for a stroll or a picnic on sunny days.
You'll also find plenty of independent cafés nearby for weekend brunches and coffee, along with cosy pubs, restaurants, bakeries and local shops. You're also close to Co-op and about 15 mins from Aldi, Morrisons and Sainsbury's, making everyday life really convenient.
For getting around, Kings Norton and Bournville train stations are both nearby, with regular services into Birmingham city centre, Mosley and kings heath and there are excellent bus routes and road links too.
Availability
The house will be ready at the end of July, but viewings are welcome before then. Even though I'm still putting the finishing touches in place, you're very welcome to come and have a look and get a feel for the house.

A Quick Note About the Photos
