I’m looking for a new flatmate to take over an en-suite room in my flat. I’m a PhD student, so I’m exempt from council tax, and ideally I’d love to share with another PhD student. If you’re not a student, you’d be eligible for the 25% single-person discount on council tax (Band D), although I wouldn’t be able to contribute towards this.

The other monthly costs are approximately:

* Internet: £16.50 each, although I’m happy to look into cheaper options.
* Water: Usage dependent, but usually no more than £20 each.
* Electricity: Around £45 each in summer and £90 each in winter.

The room is en-suite, fully furnished, and has a lovely double Juliette balcony. The flat has an open-plan kitchen and living area, as well as an outdoor garden space and parking.

I’m someone who really enjoys having a peaceful and comfortable home, so I’d ideally be looking for someone who has a similar lifestyle. I’m going into the final year of my PhD, so I’m definitely in a bit of a focused/work-heavy phase at the moment! I’m not really a regular party-at-home person, so I think the flat would suit someone who enjoys a quieter home environment too.

I’m also a Christian, and it’s important to me to live with someone who is respectful and comfortable with my faith.

Outside of that, I’m very much a girl’s girl! I’m always happy to be a shoulder to cry on or a support system, and I love a cosy evening, a glass of wine and a good clean/tidy-up together :D
