Situated a short walk from Blackheath and Greenwich park, it is the perfect location for London which doesn’t feel like London. Quiet street with free parking on the road, just off the high street with an M&S, coffee shops and cafes, great charity shops and a few pubs. I have always felt very safe in this area, and loved living here. The house is a 10-15 minute walk to Westcombe Park train station which takes 15 minutes to get to London Bridge, perfect for anyone working in the city. Also a 10-15 minute bus to North Greenwich station for the Jubilee Line, O2 area, and the London cable car.
The house has been recently renovated as you can see in the pictures, and everyone respects the space keeping it clean and tidy. The room is right next to the large bathroom so has an en-suite feel to it, but there is also a second smaller bathroom upstairs.
The landlord is genuinely really great, which is lucky in this day. He is hands on when he needs to be but never interferes. There is also a handyman who lives close so often pops over to fix anything. Rent is £760 but the landlord has offered to pay council tax and water for us so comes to around £800. Gas and electricity is then sorted by us, and comes to around £50 a month but that will decrease now summer is round the corner ☀️
