I am a live-in landlord, a lawyer currently on a career break. I share the house with one fairly elderly cat. You don’t have to be a cat lover but it’s important not to be allergic to cats of course.
The house is terraced, dating from about 1900, located in a quiet residential area. The available room is a double bedroom, approx 4.5 x 2.5m at the rear of the property. It includes some cupboard storage space. Some (limited) storage may be available in loft for suitcases/similar. Further photos to follow.
Shared bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. Bathroom completely refurbished last year.
Utility room includes freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and a separate fridge for your own use.
Downstairs is open plan (apart from the utility room). TV with Virgin, Broadband included, currently Netflix and Amazon Prime included.
There is a small rear garden with table, and chairs.
Cleaner currently once a fortnight.
Close to Blackheath Standard (10 min walk) with M&S, butcher, baker, grocer etc.
Good transport links: 5 mins walk to the 422 bus stop to North Greenwich tube, 54 bus which goes to Blackheath Village, or approx 15 mins walk (or take 422 bus) to Westcombe Park overground train. There is also the river bus from Greenwich about 15-20 mins cycle away.
About 5 mins walk to Blackheath tennis/cricket/rugby club. I’m a member of the tennis club so if you’re a keen tennis player that could be particularly convenient.
On street parking is restricted and a permit would need to be arranged for regular car parking.
House comes with a piano which is rarely used.
