Bright, spacious double room overlooking a quiet courtyard next to the British Museum. It’s a top-floor flat, so there’s no noise from above.

It’s not a party flat. I have mostly elderly neighbours, so I’m very conscious of keeping noise down. If you like peace and quiet, this is a great place to live. The bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are all away from street noise.

Council Tax and broadband are included. Gas and electricity bills are shared.

I’m a friendly author and former English teacher — well travelled (55 countries), very quiet and clean — looking for a responsible person who values considerate shared living.

My interests include writing, philosophy, psychology and travel. I’m also interested in off-grid living because of how technology and AI are changing everyday life. I have a smartphone, but mostly use it for practical things such as Uber. I mainly use a Nokia — I went back to one in 2019 and have never regretted it. I much prefer reading books and listening to podcasts.

I also like cricket, football, museums and galleries. My degrees are in history and humanities. I’m vegetarian 🌱, but you don’t need to be.

Short-term or long-term stays are both possible, and I’m flexible about the move-in date.
