As stated, it's a sunny, double, ensuite bedroom, often, with sole use of the semi-self-contained, gf flat - available now.

Preferably, looking for longer term let, i. e. 6 to 12+ months at a time...

The whole house has been completely refurbished. New bathrooms, new kitchen(s), new flooring, beds, furniture & desks etc.

The room advertised is ensuite & within the semi-self-contained ground floor flat, occasionally sharing with just me when I'm in town.

The room is bright and spacious (warm in the winter) with lots of natural light from large windows.
It has a double bed, desk, armchair, wardrobe & chest of drawers.

The downstairs ground floor flat shares the rear garden/yard & the entrance, with the ff flat.

Other than that, it is self-contained with its own large kitchen, lounge/diner & conservatory, plus shared access to the back yard/garden.

I keep the second double bed/office/storage room in the flat for myself when in town.

Normally, I'm a professional musician (49), based out of Kent, near London, though, often abroad on contract.

My Mum lives in Southbourne nearby, so lately I've been in town quite a bit since the plandemic - mostly staying with her as companion & carer.

This property is located in Pokesdown, on the outskirts of Southbourne & Boscombe, just off Christchurch Road & almost right next to Kings Park - it is mere minutes walk away from most shops & conveniences, including a late-closing Tesco Express around the corner, as well as Southbourne Highstreet in one direction & Boscombe promenade in the other, with their fair selection of restaurants cafes, bars & many varried shops on both.

Public transport is great from here.
One minute walk away from a bus stop & 6 minutes from Pokesdown railway station (regular trains west to Bournemouth & Poole - Or east to Ringwood, Salisbury, Southampton & London).

This vacancy is offered to a single, non-smoking professional.

I accept a month's rent and the last month's rent in advance (instead of deposit). All bills and c. tax are covered (Band B), including 24hr, unlimited, 100mbps, fibre, wireless broadband and a bi-weekly cleaner.

You may appreciate that this is not a wild party house but rather a home... Very friendly and casual but where tranquility is a good thing.
