About the House:

This is a calm, clean and sociable household — we’re busy professionals who value routine and respect one another’s space. We run a vegan kitchen, meaning no cooking of raw meat or fish on the hob or in the oven. However, we’re completely relaxed about omnivore takeaways, ready meals, deli items and cold foods. There’s a separate fridge and microwave upstairs for non-vegan items, so you won’t feel restricted. The house is smoke-free — not from judgement, simply personal preference for our shared environment. Two friendly resident cats complete the household.

Location & Transport:

15-minute walk to Bournemouth University and the train station. Five minutes by bus to the beach and town centre. Adjacent to Queens Park Golf Course and public park. Walking distance to Castlepoint shopping centre and gym. Close to Charminster’s restaurants and nightlife. Unrestricted on-street parking plus off-road option. Secure bike storage.

Best Suited To:

A full-time working professional or postgraduate student (not undergraduate, sorry!) who’s out at work during the day and has their own social life and interests outside the house. We find things work best with someone who has an active, independent lifestyle. Bonus points if you enjoy the outdoors — the beach, parks and coastal paths are all on the doorstep. We’re sociable and enjoy a chat, but we equally value our quiet time.
