This is a 6 bedroom furnished character solar detached house share for 5 single lodgers 10 minutes walk from the beach, Westbourne and Bournemouth. The house dates back to 1938 but is fully modernised with generous rooms.
The communal area has a large kitchen (range cooker & all white goods (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine)), 4 shared bathrooms (bath & shower) over 3 floors, large and lovely communal lounge (lots of sofas), large quiet garden, off-road parking for up to 6 cars, fast broadband, Satellite TV in all bedrooms and lounge. The house enjoys it's own gym, a modern combi-boiler and 6kW solar panels and has been refurbished thoughout.
About myself: I intend to be a live-in landlord, though infrequently as it depends on my freelance IT work, and expect to stay here half the week or less.. I love the verdant and spacious walks around the house leading to the beach and the relative seclusion of the detached house with an Arts and Crafts/Art Deco mix. Bournemouth square and Westbourne shops are only 10 minutes walk away.
My preference for female lodgers is down to a few unacceptable experiences from males, as lodgers and in business, so naturally I am more guarded towards males and protective towards females. It is a bias I am conscious of and try not to apply it unfairly, but a preference nevertheless.
A fair usage policy is adopted for energy, but the solar panels and battery reduce this during sunny days. Otherwise, energy bills over £300 pcm are shared.
