Sadly, I am leaving my three lovely housemates and well-located houseshare for pastures new in March 2026, so we are looking for a replacement to take my spot on the tenancy.
Quick deets for those of you sick of reading so many ads and just need cold hard facts:
Rent: £875 paid to Foxtons by 15th of every month.
Room: Street-level double room, furnished.
Bathrooms: 2 bathrooms, so only sharing yours with one other person. Total 2 showers and a bath <3
Shared spaces: Big living room/kitchen with a comfortable 4 seater sofa and plenty of cupboard/fridge space for each person. All the utensils, cutlery, mugs, plates, bowls a gal could ever need.
Large mezzanine garden with patio space and grassy area. The garden is the tenant's responsibility to maintain, so if you like gardening, have at it!
There is also a spacious loft for additional storage, and a separate box room we use for drying laundry.
Bills: We pay for gas/electric, water, council tax, fortnightly cleaner for communal areas, and tv license. This comes to approx an additional £160 on top of the rent each month.
Council tax band: G
More about the remaining tenants if you are still here:
Tenant #1 is Grace (31), property manager by day and k-pop dancing baddie by night.
Tenant #2 is our resident poet Jen (31), who is returning from a long stint of travelling in South America/teaching in Australia.
Tenant #3 is the most recent addition, Dr. Ellie (31), who does big brain experiments and impressive biology-related things we pretend to understand.
Who we are looking for:
We would love to find a long-term housemate (1-2 years or more) who is happy to replace my name on the tenancy, and be a active part of the house! We all have our own lives and friends outside of the share, but also love a good movie night together or pub roast (there are 2 cracking ones within walking distance). Keeping communal areas clean and tidy in-between cleaner visits is expected, as well as generally being respectful of each other's space, schedules and belongings.
Give me a message if this feels like a good fit for you and we can arrange a viewing!
