Room for Lodger – Friendly Home with Dogs & Garden Space
We’re looking for a relaxed, respectful lodger to join our home. The house is currently on the market, but as you probably know, the whole process typically takes several months. We expect to be here for a good while yet, and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
The Room
A comfortable double room furnished with:
Double bed
Wardrobe, chest of drawers & bedside table
TV and recliner chair
Additional storage unit
Sky TV and broadband are included.
The Household
We’re an introverted, chilled couple. When we’re not working (I’m a tattoo artist/project manager; my partner is a PT), we’re usually in the front room with our two friendly, slightly mischievous dogs. They have their own space downstairs when we’re out, but they love company in the evenings. Being a dog lover is a big plus!
My mum lives in the annexe next door, and we share the garden with her and her cats—so it’s definitely an animal-friendly home.
We’ve started growing our own veg and are sprucing up the patio so the Lay-Z-Spa can be enjoyed this summer.
There’s also an additional downstairs shower and toilet for convenience.

Who We’re Looking For
Someone easy-going, respectful and happy around animals. We’re open to someone who has their child for occasional weekends, or a partner who visits—just let us know what you need.
