Furnished, spacious, double bedroom on the first floor, with its own bathroom next door, desk, large wardrobe and private balcony in a modern eco-build.

We are a couple (58 & 60) and 1 female tenants (35). This is a very clean, well organsied, warm and quiet family household near Preston Park in a modern eco-build. Bills, council tax, washing powder, toilet paper and weekly cleaning are included. We have a clever little cooking and washing rota so that everyone feels they can use the amenities uninterrupted.

The living room and garden are not shared but of course you can use the kitchen and dining area in your slot.
The bathroom is just next door, completely private, with lots of space and is cleaned once a week.

This will suit a tidy and hard-working female who cares about the environment, appreciates an organised household, their own space, and a calm environment. We generally don't socialise, but we definitely help each other out and care for each other; once a month we have a movie night or a meal.

We can provide a duvet, pillows, sheets, towels and bathmats. You can wash them on your wash day. We provide all kitchen utensils, plates, cutlery, pots and pans, even a rice cooker

Just a quick note: we're not able to accommodate someone who'll be working from home full-time during the week. Also, we prefer not to have partners staying over, as it can be a bit disruptive to the household. We hope you understand, and thanks so much for respecting our house arrangements!

We live in the green suburbs, a very safe area 5 minutes from the park. No 5B direct to Sussex Uni (30-minute bus), Preston Park Station (15-minute walk), London Road Station (10-minute walk).

Our idea is to give someone a quiet place away from the hard life outside, a little calm sanctuary to study and recover. We are not in a rush, but we are trying to find the right person. ;)
