Hi, I’m Jess! 👋🏼 a 34 year old FinTech Recruiter.
My lovely current lodger is sadly moving out 20th May 2026 (a little flex here may be possible), so this room will now be available again from that date.
After an amicable break up I am looking to rent out one spare room in my four bedroom detached house. It’s a lovely modern, new build house on a small and safe estate in Goring-by-sea. 10 minute’s walk from the train station.
A very clean and tidy house that is decorated to a high standard throughout. You will have access to all new appliances, washing machine etc. There is a medium sized garden and patio which is a lovely sun trap in the summer.
I won’t be looking to get any additional housemates to fill the 3rd bedroom, and I use the 4th bedroom as an office. There is 1 main (very clean and modern) bathroom and 1 toilet downstairs, sadly no en-suite for either of us. You’d have access to the whole house and the 4th bedroom I’d be happy for us to discuss sharing if you needed a little extra storage etc. My current lodger has her dressing table in there.
There is a drive and off street parking available, and a large garage for storage. The spare room is currently unfurnished, I could potentially look at sourcing some furniture if required. There’s plain fresh white on the walls but I’d be happy for us to decorate if you wish (happy to get the paintbrushes out the garage)!
I work from home mostly. I’m keen to find someone who’s the right fit for both of us.
I’d love to find someone who is kind and that I get on with, to socialise with from time to time, have a bbq when the sun’s shining etc.
I’m clean, respectful, fair minded, empathetic, quiet and tidy who will respect your space and boundaries too. I love to cook healthy nutritious food and I have recently adopted a beautiful British Shorthair cat who is indoor only- so please only people who are okay with cats. Sorry no additional pets.
I love the hiking, spending time in nature, gardening, walks on the beach, Pilates. Enjoy a bit of trash TV, Traitors, MAFS etc! I’ve just returned from a year travelling abroad. I’m a non smoker and occasional social drinker.

£800 price includes all bills, council tax, high speed Wi-Fi and the extra £32 in the rent (I pay the other half) covers 2 hours of professional cleaning every fortnight.
