Period property with a modern refurbished double bedroom.
Large wardrobe with rails, storage, a large dresser and desk/table. 2 chairs and 1 stool. It's a decent size for you to have your mini studio in a shared flat.
On a beautiful bright Hove side road, 5 minutes to the sea whilst having lots of amenities nearby.
I have rented rooms out in my place for years so am very used to this way of living.
Property: “think seaside cottage style, with both old and modern touches."
The property has been refurbished, with new kitchen, bathroom, electrics and heating.
There is a central space which houses the kitchen (washer/dryer, microwave, cooker, fridge etc) with eating area.
The 3 bedrooms are spread along the flat, so you do not feel crammed on top of each other. A fully tiled bathroom has modern units, bath & shower. The flat has its own front door and a front area with pots.
Living: I like to live in a chilled, friendly space, living with someone who is tidy and clean. In general, it will suite a quieter individual and it's not a party flat. I work from home a lot of the time in my own space at the opposite end of the flat, so I am not looking for someone who also works from home.
Me: A lifestyle journalist and in tv production. I work in the creative world so go to events, travel and love a good film.
What I am looking for: I do not quantify age but mature in attitude and tidy and clean. It's definitely meant to be your home where you feel at ease and welcome. As mentioned in the details I want to live with non-smokers.
Many say the flat is cosy and creative in feel.
Rent includes bills (electricity (no gas), television license, broadband, council tax and cleaning materials). I am a keen environmentalist just in that I recycle and in these days of high energy costs do not waste by leaving lights on etc to keep bills as low as possible whilst living comfortably.
Hove as a place to live: Some will know the area and others may well just have been recommended it or are totally new. I think many may be interested to know about some of the basic amenities and feel and what the transport links are like. Hove is I believe a friendly area with nice homes but without thinking it’s too big for its boots.
Amenities:
