My name is Matthew and I'm a PhD student at the University of Sussex. I've been living in my lovely flat since 2016. My current flatmate is moving out at the end of August and I'd like to continute living here until I finish my PhD next summer. I live a pretty quiet life - I'm working from home right now, and when I'm not working on my PhD I like to read, relax with a film, or cook up a vegetarian feast.

The flat is a one minute walk from the seafront, with a gorgeous spot in the living room to look out while you're having your morning coffee. There's a really nice kitchen/living room, two small bedrooms with double beds, and two bathrooms, one of which would be your ensuite. Rent is £550pcm excluding bills (water, WiFi, energy) which are around £75pcm. The flat will be mostly furnished. The bedroom will have a bed and mattress, but no wardrobe.

I'm ideally looking for another student so that we don't have to pay council tax, although I'm happy to consider professionals who are willing to cover that cost themselves. Since so many people are working from home right now, it would be ideal to live with another chilled person who would be happy cohabiting the main space for both work and chilling out. I'm a friendly, talkative guy, and it'd be great to share this flat with someone with a similar temperament.
