Moments from the sea and in a wonderful area close to the border of Brighton and Hove, the bedroom is a small double (as reflected in the price) with a massive communal living room/kitchen with fireplace. We’re a couple looking for a flatmate to join us from late May/early June 2024
THE PROPERTY
A ground floor regency flat in a stunning location close to the seafront. It’s got a huge communal open plan kitchen and living room at the front of the house with high ceilings, a bathroom with bath and a small, private terrace at the back of the building. The bedroom isn't huge however the flat is stunning, in a great location and has a great front room. It’s a quiet location given how central it is (about 15 mins to Churchill square and 1 min from Western Road shops/cafes).
The flat came unfurnished however we have furnished the communal space entirely. It is large so plenty of space for people to add things should they wish! . There’s access to a terrace at the back of the flat. Communal areas of the flat have everything you could need but of course anything of yours is welcome too.
The bedroom will need to be furnished. The room is square with space for a double bed and chest of drawers.
We have no allocated parking however permits are available.
THE AREA
Brunswick Place is located two roads back from the sea, just into Hove. It's close to loads of independent shops and cafes, amazing restaurants and takeaways. Churchill Square is around 15 mins walk away with lots of shops on hand for everyday essential items and the beach and green spaces/parks close by. An excellent, cheap gym is 10-15 mins away. Both Brighton and Hove stations are 15-20 mins away. It’s a fab location.
WHO ARE WE?
Lois is a 30-year-old chef working in Brighton: I am a sociable person with a large group of friends in the area. I am not a massive party person, however I love more laid-back socialising. I am respectful of personal space whilst also really hoping we can create a nice atmosphere and all enjoy hanging out in the communal space of this beautiful flat. I occasionally work unsociable hours and our bedroom is at the front of the flat so you’ll have plenty of privacy in the evenings.
Josh is a 33-year-old working for a sports nutrition brand (often bringing home free protein etc. if that’s your thing). I watch and participate in a lot of sport/gym and spend much of my free time drinking coffee and staring at small dogs. Not supporting Chelsea would be a huge bonus. I have fairly recently moved to Hove myself and now know all the local restaurants and coffee shops far too well.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We would really like to find someone who enjoys hanging out as well as being able to respect everyone’s need for private space. Ideally someone who also has their own social thing going on and will appreciate the shared living room areas. Chilled and easygoing is preferable. if you are easy to get along with please get in contact. LGBT-friendly.
Previous flatmates have been wonderful and we have had a very relaxed, homey vibe and have happily shared some household items etc. We share cleaning duties, buying everyday bits for the flat etc.
The rent is £570.00 per month plus bills averaging around £120. Council tax is band C.
Happy to send over more photos and video to anyone who's interested and can commit to the above.
