I have a large Victorian house on Heene Road in Worthing where I live with my 2 dogs and lodgers. The house is close to the beach / sea, the town, both stations, bus routes, the shops and Victoria park. It is a quiet household and we share the bathroom, extra toilet and large kitchen. Parking is on the street. We do have a garden front and back.
The room to let is a large, airy and spacious double room (neutral colours) with sofa, bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and large tv. The room has character period features including fireplace, cornice, coving, ceiling rose, sash windows and stripped floor boards.
My kids are all grown up and left home and so I am planning to sell the house and downsize (reason for short term let) but this will take at least 3-6 months (possibly longer if I can’t sell it!) The rent is £650 pcm and the room is available immediately .
