Our lovely lodger has gone back to France after being with us since February, so we are looking for a warm friendly woman to share our calm, safe, cosy home near St George Park.

You'll be living with me, my 16 year old daughter and our beautiful cat, with the occasional visit from my boyfriend and his dog. Therefore looking for someone who likes people and animals!

The room is a double with plenty of storage (including allocated wardrobe space in my bedroom, and space in the loft). The house is light and spacious with open plan living downstairs and a decent size garden. Bedding and towels are provided.

Parking is on street, there is space for a bike in the shed or the hall. House has full fibre broadband, power shower and a dishwasher and all the usual stuff.

St George is a lovely place to live with the beautiful park on our doorstep, and a variety of nice pubs/cafes/restaurants just down the road. There's a bus stop at the end of the road (Northcote rd) which has frequent buses into town and temple meads. Lawrence hill train station is 20 mins walk away.

We are happy with long or short term lodgers and have enjoyed sharing with a diverse selection of women. Weekdays only is £425 a month, full time is £575. The house is council tax Band B - this information has to be included in the ad but all bills are included in the rent.

It's generally clean and tidy but it's a home not a show home. We would like a considerate housemate to share the space with, someone who is friendly and will share the occasional meal/glass of wine/cup of tea. Equally we also very much respect the need for personal space.

We are lucky to live on a lovely street with a friendly and supportive community of neighbours. We are a left wing remain voting pro-science household and are looking for someone with shared values.

I am a SEN teaching assistant, my daughter has just finished her GCSEs and is off to college in September.
