Hi!

We have a double-sized bedroom available for rent in our spacious, peaceful Victorian House on the Fishponds/Staple Hill border.

The house is walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops as well as Oldbury Court Woodlands. The Bristol-Bath cycle path is accessible from our road. The bus route into the centre runs from the end of the road (bus stop is less than 2 minutes' walk from the front door) and there's plenty of free on-street parking.

The house is spread over 3 floors with our room on the top floor and the available rooms on the middle floor.
The middle floor of the house consists of two lovely double rooms (one of which has been occupied by our wonderful other lodger for the past 1.5 years). The two bedrooms share a large bathroom with shower and bath which is for exclusive use of you as lodgers.

Room rental cost includes all bills: council tax/water/utilities/Virgin fibre/TV licence.

The room is large and light and is furnished with a double bed with new mattress, a large oak wardrobe and drawers for storage.

Please note that the room is for inidividual rental only (no couples). Overnight guests are permitted but require the landlord's prior knowledge/permission out of respect for the other lodger as it's an extra person using the bathroom!

The room rate includes shared use of the kitchen (with coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob and fridge) and a large living room with a big TV for movie nights or relaxing outside of your room. There is also a large garden with decking for when the sun is shining. There's also access to the separate dining room for drying clothes and large dining table for occasional working from home!

We're friendly and enjoy chatting and getting to know people, but are also very respectful of personal space. We would like you to feel "at home" here and like it is your sanctuary once the front door closes... Everybody that visits feels that the house has a quiet and peaceful feel about it where people can relax, watch TV, cook, chat, read, whatever - fellow introverts are very welcome! Please only apply if this sounds like somewhere you'd like to live.... It's definitely not a party house!
