Hello,

We are Raj & Guy, a couple in our late 30s/early 40s.

We are looking for a housemate to move in with us and our existing lodger, in our lovingly renovated Victorian terrace home, directly off North Street in Bedminster.

THE ROOM

Your enormous room is furnished with an antique king sized bed, a bedside storage unit, an antique wooden chest of drawers, a freestanding clothes rail, a desk and a velvet seat at the foot of the bed.

BILLS

All bills, including gas, electricity, water, broadband, TV licence and council tax are included.

THE HOUSE

We have spent the last 5 years completely renovating the house and are happy that we can finally sit back and enjoy it, as well as share it with new housemates.

There are 3 floors - On the ground floor we have the sitting room, dining room and kitchen, leading out to a large sunny garden.

On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms we are renting out, with a large bathroom, featuring a Victorian style clawfoot bathtub.

On the second floor is our master bedroom and ensuite - meaning the downstairs bathroom is reserved for our housemates to share.

There is on street, non-reserved parking available outside the house, first come first serve, but there are usually spaces.

THE AREA

The house is right off North Street, the heart of Bedminster, known for its annual street art festival, Upfest. It's full of great cafes, restaurants, pubs and independent shops.

We are 10 min drive from Bristol Temple Meads station.

The number 24 bus stops at the end of our road, and takes you to Queen Square in the city centre in 10 mins. You can also walk into town via Wapping Wharf and the scenic harbourside in under 30mins.

We are also a 30min walk from Ashton Court and Leigh Woods, one of our favourite places in Bristol, great for walks and picnics.

ABOUT US

Raj is a TV Director and Guy runs his own architectural engineering company.

Most evenings we like to chill out, cook, listen to music or watch TV, sometimes inviting friends over for dinner. On the weekends we will either be at home, pottering around doing some DIY/craft project and gardening, or we will be out on a hike in the countryside and catching up with friends and family.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a chilled grown up, ideally a female professional in their 30s/40s, someone who will respect our home and who hopefully in time, we can call a friend rather than just a housemate.
