Double room:
£625pcm

The room is south facing overlooking the garden and measures 380cm x 305cm. Is on the first floor adjacent to the one shared bathroom, which has a separate bath and shower. It is the only room in the house that is carpeted. The bed is a small double, and is very comfortable with a Dormeo Fresh Memory Foam mattress. The other furniture can be changed around, or can accommodate some of your own, I am flexible. The shelving has gone that is pictured as current lodger preference.
The kitchen is only 2 years old with new appliances including a mini-dishwasher. Previous owner had fixed the water pressure, which is amazing. No tumble drier, but I have a Sheila Maid hanging from ceiling in the upstairs landing and outdoors washing line. There is a separate dining room, which is also a good hang out place, and great for board games, sewing projects or general crafting!
The house is situated just off the Bristol to Bath cycle way, (please, no indoor bikes, I have an outdoor bike lockup, or we can sort back garden entry via lane) and close to corner shops and pubs (The Plough and the Chelsea)
The furry resident is Candy, who is a 16-year old black and white cat, a descendant of one of the last of the great hunters, but has retired, so no more surprises, and now sleeps around 18 hours a day. I do expect you to be cat-friendly and be able to take care of the cat when I go away, or be accommodating to a trusted cat sitter during those periods.
You will be sharing with me, a 60yr old live-in landlady. I have children in their 20's. I work quietly from home mostly, at a desk office hours. Can keep to myself but also enjoy being social, and cooking communal dinners. Like going to gigs, festivals and travelling.
Rent is £625 all in. I would want a £500 deposit and it would be as per Spare Room contract. See how it goes for 3 months, and then can make it longer term.
It would suit someone professional, who works similar hours, i. e. no mid-week nightcrawlers. No pet if it would clash with my cat - don't mind pet spiders or goldfish for instance. Would also like someone who has pre-knowledge of Bristol and absolutely no Reform UK supporters, and if that is a breach of discrimination law, so-be-it. Someone with the same level of cleanliness. Would prefer someone who uses natural soaps as heavy scented washing liquid makes me sneeze, happy to share laundry soap sheets, zero plastic. Apart from that I am pretty flexible, just needs to be a good fit.
Can come view but the room won't be empty until end of April.
