The room
We have a small double room available in our lovely 3 bed house. It comes unfurnished but you may be able to buy some of the existing furniture if needed.
Bills come to around £120 - £150 a month depending on the season. We are council tax band D.
The house
The house itself is super spacious with both a living room and conservatory which we use as a dining room and office space. There is plenty of space for you to have a desk in there if you work from home. We have a lovely garden with outdoor shed for bike storage too.
The area
The house is in Sea Mills (south west if you're not familar - just past Clifton/ Stoke Bishop), and is a short walk away from Kings Weston Estate and Blaise Castle. We feel blessed with the location, there are so many great walks in nature around us and access into the city is very easy. Sea Mills train station is a 15 minute walk away, which is one stop up from Clifton Down.
Alternatively the 41 bus takes just 20/25 minutes into the city centre, going along the Portway.
About us
I'm Jo, I work as an Events Manager in the environmental sector and I work from home a few days a week. I am into yoga, dancing, baking and adventuring in the south west and Wales.
The other housemate is Sally Anne who's just finishing up a French and Film degree who is super chilled and lovely.
We are looking for a third female housemate to replace Zoe who is moving out with her partner.
We have a relaxed and peaceful house atmosphere, we are always chatting about our days, occasionally sharing cooked meals. We would love someone who is like minded in contributing to a positive energy where we can all be our authentic selves, and enjoy a clean and tidy living space.
The landlords will want to do a quick reference check before you move in, they are very helpful and responsive.
