Over the years this house has been nicknamed “The Heart Healing Hotel” a friendly place that’s helped a few mates land on their feet.

I’ve owned the place for about four years and during that time it’s been home to a rotating cast of friends who’ve needed a place while figuring things out - after breakups, moving to the city, or just needing a reset. It’s always been a relaxed, supportive house and I’m now looking for the next person to join us for around 6 months before I stop sharing the place.

The house

Downstairs:

It’s a comfortable house with plenty of space to either socialise or do your own thing.

The current setup -

At the moment it’s me and my mate from Devon living here. We’ve historically tried to keep a balance of male/female in the house, so ideally we’d find a female housemate, but we’re open to the right person.

The room (2.4 m x 4 m) comes with a bed frame, but you’ll need to bring or buy your own mattress.

The vibe

We’re pretty relaxed and social, and tend to have big blow out party every 3/4 months or so. People cook together sometimes, watch a film, play xbox, watch sport, have a drink in the garden when the weather’s good, etc. It’s always been a friendly place where people feel comfortable. We’re big music and arts heads, so down to make beats, craft, or not. We’re mindful of each other’s work patterns so just do you.
