Double bedroom with its own private living/dining/office room in quiet, safe, low-rise apartment complex (Knoll Court) with beautiful communal gardens in Sneyd Park, BS9. Suitable for someone working/studying from home or for a couple (rent is £850 single/£1250 couple). The comfortable and stylish apartment is on the second floor (please note, no lift). Allocated car parking space for your exclusive use (Mon-Fri or weekends or negotiable). Small amount of garage storage space if required. I am a freelance academic and away on fieldwork for 4 months (3 + 1) every year so I am looking for someone easygoing to share with but who is also tidy and responsible. I do smoke, but only ever on the balcony, which is my private space.

You can move the furniture around/add/remove to suit you and make the rooms your own. The furniture available is shown in the bedroom and living room photographs, including extra large sofa. There is a very comfortable fold-out camp bed (shared) in the cupboard for an overnight guest. The apartment has underfloor heating and double-glazing throughout.

Sneyd Park is a lovely area for walking, exercising, and nature. The complex has beautiful gardens that you are free to enjoy. The Downs is a five minute walk away, the same with Sneyd Park Nature Reserve. The bus stop for town or Cribbs Causeway (No 4) is 10 minute walk. It is a lovely walk across the Downs to Henleaze, Clifton, Whiteladies Road, Redland, and so on. There is a small group of shops 15 minutes walk away in Stoke Bishop, or the large supermarkets are in Westbury Park (Waitrose), Henleaze (Tesco), Clifton Down (Sainsbury's) and up towards Cribbs Causeway (Lidl, Aldi, Morrisons). The M5 is close by, as is the M4-M5 interchange.

This apartment is best suited to someone/couple wanting peaceful surroundings, to be near the Downs for open space/exercise (and, increasingly, various festivals), to have easy access to the hustle and bustle without being right in it, and to enjoy a half way option of sharing but with your own private space at the same time.
