We’re Alex and Joe, 2 housemates looking to fill a room in our friendly 3 bed house in St Werburghs, Bristol.
About the room & house:This is a small double room available for a 10-week fixed-term stay only, with no option to extend, as our current lodger is heading abroad for an internship.
It’s a 3-bedroom terraced house with a garden, shared living room, kitchen and dining room. There is currently one shared bathroom, although we hope to add a second in future.
The room and house are fully furnished, including washer/dryer, dishwasher, bed, wardrobe and TVs in both the bedroom and living room.
We’re located in the heart of St Werburghs, backing onto Mina Road Park and just off Mina Road/Gloucester Road, with great access to cafés, pubs and green space.
The kitchen and communal areas are spacious, with plenty of room for hanging out, cooking together or the occasional party/night in.
Parking is free on the street, although spaces can sometimes be limited. There’s also bike storage out the front of the house if you cycle.
About us:Hi, I’m Alex (31M), originally from London. I work from home as a Business Analyst and have lived in Bristol for around 6 years now. I enjoy hiking, climbing, going to the gym, plants, board games, festivals, gaming and the occasional drink. I’m usually working from home most days, but head into the office a couple of times a week.
I’m non-veggie but pretty flexible as long as the food tastes good!
Joe (27M) has lived in Bristol for a couple years and works in operations for the MoJ. Outside of work he enjoys films, paddle boarding, reading and going for a pint or two. He smokes and is non-veggie, but respectful of other people’s preferences.
We’re both pretty laid back professionals who enjoy a good laugh and a friendly, sociable house atmosphere. We’re looking for someone tidy, easy-going and sociable who wants to feel part of the home rather than just renting a room.
