I am taking a year out of work and am letting my room out in my shared house in a lovely mid-terrace cottage in Kingswood whilst I'm away. The current tenant is moving out (they've just bought their own place) and the room is available from 6th September until April 2027. You'd be living with Martyn (40), who is also process of buying his own place, and Kat (early 30s) who's lived in the house for a nearly two years now. They are both pretty relaxed people, with varying interests: Martyn is an engineer at heart and is always designing and building something / generally being creative. Kat's a social being, likes various forms of dance, spending time with friends etc.

The house has an open-plan living room/kitchen, good sized patio and garden that gets the evening sun ☀️.

Would love to find someone who can join the household for while, rather than just occupying the spare room .

The room is furnished and has lots of storage, a stand up desk, space for a yoga mat etc.

The house is about 20 minutes cycle into town (slightly longer coming back) and is just next to Magpie Bottom nature reserve, which has some lovely green space. It's also about 2km down to the woods and path next to the river Avon, by which point you barely know you're in the city. Kingswood high street, with all the usual shops, is a 5 minute walk.

Price includes bills (not TV licence) and fortnightly cleaner for the shared spaces.

7 month period preferred but can be flexible
