I’m looking for someone friendly and easygoing to join a relaxed, welcoming home in Totterdown. It’s a place where people enjoy a laugh and the odd shared meal, but also appreciate a comfortable, calm space to come back to.

🛏️ About the Room: The Zen Den
Rent: £900 pcm (all bills included)

The Vibe: A spacious, fully furnished double room with great views over Bristol.

WFH Ready: The room is equipped with super-fast Wi-Fi and has plenty of dedicated space for a full-sized desk setup, perfect if you're looking to build a comfortable home office without feeling cramped.

Location: 1 minute from Totterdown village (Tesco, bakery, greengrocers, and the pub). Just a 10-minute walk to Temple Meads Station.

🏡 About the House
Social Spaces: Comfortable living room kitted out for films and chats.

The Goods: Well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and a massive American-style fridge freezer.

Outside: Large, peaceful garden and patio, perfect for morning coffee or summer BBQs.

The Boss: Shared with Merlin, a very friendly Maine Coon who takes his nap schedule extremely seriously.

The house is kept clean and looked after, but it’s very much a lived-in home. No one is policing biscuit crumbs here!

👋 Who You’ll Be Living With
You'll be joining two others (and the cat):

Jack (32): 🎮 Game developer, gym enjoyer, BBQ enthusiast, and mostly competent adult. Sociable but respects the need for downtime.

Georgia (22): 🧗‍♀️ She’s a keen climber, super friendly, and likely to be found scaling walls when she's not at home.

Merlin (3): 🦁 A very friendly Maine Coon. He’s essentially the resident landlord, though his "management style" mostly involves demanding head scratches and taking his nap schedule extremely seriously. He’s majestic, high-maintenance in the fur department, and—unlike most landlords, completely open to bribery in exchange for Dreamies.

🤝 The Culture
We’re looking for a human inhabitant who enjoys a shared meal and understands that microwaving fish in a communal kitchen is a direct breach of the Geneva Convention. Ideally, you’re easy to get along with, happy to treat the place like a home, and enjoy a mix of social time and your own space.
