I'm looking for someone who genuinely wants to make a house feel like home – not just somewhere to sleep.
I'm Lisa. I run a Community Interest Company and I'm also a coach, so life is full and purposeful, and I'd love a housemate who brings that same energy. I'm sociable, warm, and I believe in being really good to the people you share your life with.
The house is opposite the park, which is just lovely. There's a small garden we can actually work on together. There's also a shared home office, which works well if you work from home too. I want someone who wants to keep improving the space together. It's rented ,but its home.
What I'm looking for in a housemate is someone who wants to eat together once or twice a week minimum – hang out sometimes, be supportive of eachother. Someone who's sociable but also values their own space and time. Someone who communicates clearly and kindly. This is not a party house, but I do love a good dinner or a small gathering. I'd describe myself as a semi-retired party girl – I like a social/ wellbeing/ work balance so I am more selective about it now. If that sounds like you, we'll get on brilliantly.
You'd be sharing responsibility for bills, so financial reliability matters.
The big one for me: I have ADHD, and I need someone who either has it themselves, already gets it, or is genuinely willing to learn. Clear, honest communication is everything in a shared house and I'll always bring that to the table.
Most importantly, I want someone with strong values – someone who considers themselves a good ally, who thinks about the world beyond themselves, and who treats people with respect.
