I’m looking for a lodger to come live with me in my bright pink house!

It’s a large double room in a terraced house just 2 minutes’ walk from Church Road (the Bristol Loaf is dangerously close!) and 30 mins' walk to town, with great bus and train connections also. There’s an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area, and a garden with a veggie patch (and a hammock when the weather eventually becomes nice). The room is unfurnished but the rest of the house has all the knickknacks you could need.

I’m a 31-year-old PhD student, I’m studying history so am often in the midst of a stone circle or castle! I also try and spend lots of time in nature, I love going to festivals, and am equally happy cosying up on the sofa reading a book as going for a dance (Lost Horizon or Prospect Building being the venues of choice at the mo!) I’m looking for someone who’s a similar age, who likes to do their own thing but is also up for hangs too, is keen to have some dinners together etc. Not a party house (but there will be singalongs to Sophie Ellis Bexter’s Murder on the Dancefloor and other noughties bangers at frequent intervals). I really want to make this a tranquil space that’s calm, kind and happy. It’ll just be the two of us, so looking for someone who’s on a similar vibe, is clean and respectful, and ideally who doesn’t work from home too often as I frequently do.

Rent is £600 a month plus bills and deposit is one month’s rent.

No smokers and no vaping inside the house. No pets either and sorry no couples!
