We have a lovely, quiet, and sun-drenched double room available on the top floor of our newly renovated family home in Knowle. The room is south-facing and very warm, featuring a new deluxe mattress double bed (with under-bed storage), an open wardrobe, and a fitted blind. We are also happy to provide a desk and a chest of drawers if needed.

You will share the top floor and a bathroom with only one other person—our wonderful, respectful female lodger, who is an international student. We have two additional bathrooms on the lower floors for our family's use, so the top floor remains very quiet.

The house features a large, bright open-plan kitchen and living area which you are very welcome to use. We’ve recently added a large double fridge to ensure everyone has plenty of storage. Outside, there is a big south-facing garden with a patio and a secure shed for bike storage. To keep things easy, a cleaner visits every two weeks to clean the communal areas and your bathroom.

Location: ideally situated near the Wells Road, it is only a 15-minute bus ride to the city centre. You’ll be a short stroll from Redcatch Park and Broadwalk Shopping Centre. If you enjoy being active, Knowle Tennis Club and Jubilee Swimming Pool are both within a 5-10 minute walk.

About Us & You: We are a professional couple with a friendly 6-year-old daughter. We are looking for a trustworthy, female lodger who is "child-friendly" and looking for a long-term home (6-month minimum commitment, followed by a rolling contract).

At home we speak mainly English - but also Polish & some Spanish so a speaker of either Polish or Spanish language would be a wonderful bonus for our daughter’s learning—though this isn't a requirement!
