The building is in a Victorian fire station that has been converted into a block of flats and has loads of character. There are a couple of shared exterior spaces including a roof terrace with great views of central London (as seen in the photos).

The room has its own (recently upgraded) ensuite and the room has a massive cupboard that shockingly has managed to swallow up most of my stuff.

The Flat itself has a big open plan kitchen/living/dining room and one main bathroom with bathtub. Kitchen has washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. The flat is a great size for 4 people and we never have felt too on top of one another.

We're about a 5 minute walk to Kennington and 10 minutes Elephant and Castle tube stations and around a 15 minute walk to Vauxhall. On top of that if you're interested in joining a gym there's a fantastic brand new GymBox less than a 10 minute walk away.

A bit about the flat, Dan and Shani are a couple from NZ/South Africa, and Claire who is English. Dan works in insurance, Shani is a massage therapist and Claire is a primary school teacher.

We like to keep a tidy flat but don't want to have a rota or anything going. Bills are about 80 quid a month on top of rent.

The apartment building has restrictions on noise past 11pm so this isn't really a great afterparty flat but other than that friends/dinners/drinks etc are welcome/encouraged. We are on contract directly with the landlord who is super helpful and always there if we need him.

I've lived in Kennington for 3 years and it's the perfect base for exploring and enjoying the city with amazing transport links into both Central London and the City (both are easily commutable... once people are back in offices!). I love the flat and am only moving out as I no longer need to be in London for work.
