We have a lovely ensuite double bedroom available in a refurbished modern red brick terraced house in SE16. The room is c 13 sqm and has a ensuite shower room (with a sink and toilet).
The house has five bedrooms, a large open plan living room/kitchen, and a second separate kitchen (please see floorplan). Each bedroom has its own private bathroom or is an ensuite. There is a sizeable garden for BBQs, and a shared motorcycle garage for general storage.
The house is very close to the Thames, so there are spectacular views of Tower Bridge less than 30 metres from the house. Bermondsey tube station is around a five minute walk from the house. The area also has a Sainsbury's Local within a couple of minutes walk, Tesco Extra (near Canada Water), and is rich in culture and history (the Mayflower pub is close by, which was the original mooring point of the Pilgrim Fathers' Mayflower ship back in the 16th century).
The housemates are considerate young professionals from a wonderful mix of international backgrounds: Ireland, Brazil, India, and the Philippines.
The kitchens are fully equipped with a gas (or induction) hob, double oven, and several large fridges and freezers. The living room area has a 58 inch Samsung Smart TV, coffee table and two large Chesterfield sofas, along with a separate dining table and benches.
The bedroom has a double bed, bedside table, desk (can be replaced), chair and a large wardrobe. The ensuite bathroom has a toilet, sink, mirror cabinet, and shower. The bed has a brand new luxury Silentnight mattress.
All bills are included in the rent. Superfast Virgin Media fibre-optic broadband (350 Mbps) is also included. We also have an excellent cleaner, who comes once a week.
The room is for single occupancy, and the rent, with all bills included, is £1,295 pcm. The room is available immediately.
We are the owners of the house, so you'd be dealing directly with the landlord, and there are no hidden charges whatsoever.
No (permanent) pets please.
