I’m looking for someone to sublet my room for 3 months (October, November, and December) in our vibrant three-bed flat near Brixton station!

As I will be travelling over that time period, we’re searching for someone friendly to take over the my room in the flat for the 3 months and will be arranging viewings from 10th August. Ideally we want to be able to find and confirm someone by the end of August at the latest.

ℹ️ About the housemates:
Ailbhe (28) is a youth worker, and Reuben (31) is a qualified psychotherapist and works for a charity helping young people. We’re laid-back, sociable, and love having a cozy, friendly home while still respecting each other’s space.

🛋️ The Space:
It is a cozy double room with plenty of space for storage. There is a double bed, a desk, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a smaller bedside table with drawers and a bookshelf. The space will be free for you to store most of your things as I will move most of my belongings out into storage, with the decorations and books and a few appliances like lamps etc. staying there. The flat itself has a spacious living area, a functional kitchen, and a shared bathroom.

👤 Looking For:
We’re looking for someone easygoing, reliable, and tidy to stay! This is perfect if you need to be in London for a short time period for work or studies, or want to use this as a place to give yourself time to look for somewhere more permanent to live.

🚇 Location:
We’re on Electric Avenue, right in the heart of Brixton. There’s loads to do, and amazing transport links with Oxford Circus only 15 minutes away on the tube!

💰 Details:

Rent: £700/month (this will cover rent and a small chunk of the bills. I will cover the remainder to keep things hassle free)

To secure the room and take the listing down, I require 1 month’s security deposit up front, plus 1 month’s advanced room payment

Availability:
The room is available from the last weekend of September or the first weekend of October (we can figure this out)- 9th January (though can be a little flexible with the dates, as long 3 months rent is covered), and we’ll arrange viewings as soon as possible
