Hiya!

We’ve got a furnished double available now in Brixton, about 5 minutes’ walk from the Tube (Victoria line) and National Rail.

THE ROOM

Double bed, wardrobe, desk and chair, bedside storage and shelving.

It’s furnished, but we’re flexible with it. If you move in and there’s something sensible missing that would make the room work better for you, just let us know and we’re happy to sort it.

THE PLACE

Downstairs: living room, one bedroom, kitchen and garden.

Upstairs: the available bedroom, bathroom and another bedroom.

There’s also cellar/storage space downstairs.

The pictures probably show the rest better than listing everything in it tbh.

The living room barely gets used and has sofas, a TV and a double daybed. If you’ve got friends or family visiting London, they’re more than welcome to stay there & save on hotels / airbnbs.

Ultimately, If you live here, we want you to feel comfortable treating the whole place as your home rather than just renting 4 walls.

WHO LIVES HERE

As of August, there are currently 2 people here.

One is leaving London for a degree in mid-September, so the downstairs bedroom may become available then as well.

If decide to rent that room out, you’d be welcome to be involved when we’re meeting people for it if you wanted to be. You’d be living together too, so it makes sense that you’re comfortable with whoever moves in.

And if you’ve got a friend or someone you already know who happens to be looking around that time, even better.

We’re not looking for any particular type of person. Working, studying, postgrad, whatever is fine.

Mainly just someone friendly, reliable, reasonably tidy and easy to live with.

RENT + DATES

£875 a month + bills.

Available now, and we’re flexible on the exact move-in date.

Ideally we’re looking for someone thinking around 10 months ish, but we’re open to different lengths of stay depending on what works.

Obviously plans and situations change. If you move in expecting to stay for 10 months and then a few months down the line you need or want to leave, that’s fine. Just let us know and we’ll work it out.

Equally, if we tell you the room is yours for that period, we’ll 100% stick to that.

It’s a pretty relaxed setup overall. We don’t want to over-formalise things or make living here more complicated than it needs to be.

LOCATION

About 5 minutes on foot from Brixton Underground and National Rail.

Brockwell Park, Brixton Village, Market Row, the Ritzy, supermarkets, gyms, cafés, restaurants and bars are all literally within about 5 minutes too.

IF YOU’RE INTERESTED

Send us a bit about yourself and roughly when you’d want to move.

Viewings can be arranged.

Drop your WhatsApp number in a message & I’ll be happy to send a video of the house.

Thank youuu
