Short term 4 month let ONLY, available at lower price of £475pcm all inclusive.
New long term tenant is moving in 1st August, and my other house mate will be away August till end of Sept (provisional date 30th, but we can be flexible on that if you find a repalcment room start of October) so I will be looking for someone to stay to cover some or all the 4 month window, this will require you to move from one bedroom ot the other in August, but both rooms are of very similar size.
Because of the short term nature and room swap I'll be offering a slightly reduced rent of £475pcm all inclusive from the frankly already very reasonable £500 I'm charging for long term rentals.
Double room available for single person occupancy, 4m x 3m and comes with wardrobe and double bed
I'm a live in landlord, 48 yrs old and my flatmate Daniel and we also share the house with his very friendly black lab dog 'Vinnie' so you'll need to be pet friendly.
There are two reception rooms one with a TV, the galley kitchen and bathroom have been updated but otherwise the decor is a little old fashioned and what estate agents generally call 'in need of modernisation' but there are no major issues.
There is a front garden setting the house back from the road and back garden which is great in the summer.
Grove Park station is about 17 mins walk, there are also two buses that will get you there, as well as to Catford or Lewisham the other way.
There is also the 136 bus stop not far, which will take you to New Cross or Elephant and Castle.
Though Grove Park is hardly the most sought after or exiting location having lived here for a decade now, I'd describe the area as generally quiet and has always felt safe at night.
The Co-op is about 12 mins walk, just at the end of the road a new fruit and veg place has opened.
There is a leisure centre opposite the Co-op, and there are several green spots nearby.
The rent includes all bills and broadband, Tv licence, council tax etc.
As a live in landlord, I'm looking for someone laid back and easy going who will appreciate this quiet residential area, affordable and stable rent, reasonable amount of living space.
Gender is not an issue, nor age.
Pre pandemic I worked part time in a cinema, generally interested in arts, culture and music in particular, guitar player. Looking for someone relatively quiet and laid back too.
Drop me a line and we can sort out a viewing.
