I’m looking to rent out a room in my flat in Bromley, initially for a few months, although I’d be open to a longer-term arrangement if it works well for both of us.

The room is currently my daughter’s bedroom, but when I have her at weekends, I generally stay at my mum’s. (The room would be cleared prior to a tenant moving in) I have my daughter every other Saturday to Sunday, as well as every Sunday, so I’m often away at weekends.

**The bedroom**

The room is a good size, overlooks a communal garden and comes with a large flatscreen TV. It currently has a light pink décor, which I’d ideally like to keep, although I’m happy to discuss this.

I can provide a bed, desk and chair if required, and the existing sofa in the bedroom can be removed to accommodate a larger bed. I’m flexible with furniture and happy to purchase what’s needed to make the room comfortable for the right lodger.

**Location and transport**

The flat is conveniently located for Bromley town centre, local amenities and several train stations.

- M&S Food at the BP garage – just a 2-minute walk.
- Bromley High Street – approximately 10–15 minutes on foot.
- Bromley North and Sundridge Park stations – around 10 minutes’ walk.
- Bromley South and Elmstead Woods stations – approximately 15–20 minutes’ walk.

**A little about me**

I’m a friendly, easy going professional working in advertising who works from home most days, although I occasionally head into London for meetings.

I’m a member of Nuffield Health and usually go to the gym after work. If you’re also a member, I’m happy to offer lifts when our schedules align.

I have a young daughter who may occasionally be at the flat, so I’d prefer a female lodger. I’m looking for someone friendly, considerate and tidy who would enjoy a relaxed, comfortable home.

**Rental arrangements**

I’m initially looking for someone for a few months, mainly to help bring in some additional income, but I’m open to extending the arrangement if we’re both happy.
