Light airy furnished double bedroom in central Camberwell (with single bed) in architect-designed family home.
Hello!
We've been in Camberwell for 10 years now and love it. On the top floor/ 4th storey, we have one of two rooms available for an individual. The rooms are on either side of a bathroom with shower. This advert is for the east-facing bedroom overlooking the garden.
The room is £950 per month with all bills included, we’d prefer a stay of 6 months or longer but would consider short let’s of 3-6 months £1100/month or Mon-Fri (3 nights a week) let for £750/month.
The room is ideally suited to those looking for a cosy retreat after a busy working day and is well- placed for UAL, Kings Hospital on those on student/ work placements.
Rent covers use of the room, shared bathroom, use of the dining room/kitchen, utility room and all utility bills, council tax, internet and occasional cleaner for a single person not working from home.
The bedroom is a double bedroom furnished with a single bed to maximise space, a triple locker-style metal wardrobe/shelving unit, a desk and a chair. There is a large kitchen and dining area downstairs, fully equipped by us. The house is architect-designed by us and has a warm, light, airy and modern atmosphere - there's tonnes of timber!
We would love to hear from independent creative types (those who get family life) who are happy to live as a lodger, independently around us - with a Lodgers Licence Fee Agreement in place.
We enjoy cooking and good food and all that Camberwell has to offer!
We love Camberwell; how creative it is and the community here and think it has a huge amount to offer. There are 3 local parks within 5 minutes, the South London Gallery, UAL Arts College, a fantastic choice of pubs and great bus connections to central London or Peckham. Our home is ideally located for Camberwell Church Street (3 mins walk) or Bellenden Road (10 mins walk) both offer a great range of eating out and socialising options. Routes into central London are good by bus (to Waterloo, Oval, Vauxhall) and we are well connected by the overground from Denmark Hill too.
We would prefer a minimum rental term of 6 months with one months deposit but will consider 3-6 month rentals. Generally, those with references/UK guarantors, would be preferred.
