Hello there!

TL: DR We’re losing two of our housemates to the whims of the universe (work and convenience) and so looking for 2 fun, kind people to join us and muddle through another year in a lovely house in Camberwell.

Us:
Frank & Lydia, in our mid-late-twenties; Lydia is a fantastic painter also paying the bills working at a screenprinter’s and I sell research intelligence to pharma companies. We love good food, enjoy cooking (especially curry and pasta) and eat together from time to time and there’s loads of great places to eat in Camberwell. We’re losing a couple of BBQ dons but we’ve picked up a thing or two.
It’s always been a fluid group of mutual friends in the house, generally not known each other very much when we moved in, but we’re pretty close and have been on holidays and to festivals together. There’s also a few mates that live nearby so we’re often down the local and out and about most weekends. At the same we both have been in London for about 10 years so get up to our own thing.

You:
The kind of person that sounds like they’d enjoy the above. No dicks. No tories. Ideally looking for a guy and a girl to keep the balance. A couple of friends would probably work well.

The house:
3 floors on a fancy pants gated mews. Over the road is a quiet little park. The house itself is not as fancy as the mews looks, but has everything you need.
We have a paved garden that gets a lot of sun in the daytime, a garage for excess storage and parking is free and easy. It originally came unfurnished – we’ll have a bed in one of the rooms – and we’ve acquired the essential furniture for the house.
Ground floor has a small toilet, kitchen with utility room (drier and washer) and the first available room (loads of space, hardwood floors, could potentially house a couple which would bring down the rent!).
First floor has the main bathroom, a large living room with a dining table (sometimes working space), sofa, TV and small balcony and the second available room (decent size, carpet).
Second floor has a box room that has doubled up as office space and the 2 taken bedrooms.
Bills come in roughly what you’d expect, although because we’re in Southwark council tax is about £60pm.
Landlord is sound. Super responsive, sorts things out quickly, has a handyman and gardener for jobs, lives in Switzerland so we see her once a year if that.

Camberwell:
Denmark Hill 15 min walk. Oval 20 minute bus - stop is end of the road. Morrison’s and Lidl 10 minutes away. Sains Local 2 mins. Not the best transport links but keeps the area fairly calm in comparison to Brixton and Peckham which are easy to get to. On top of the park over the road there are a parks in about 15 min in each direction. Loads of bakeries, restaurants and pubs, a PureGym, farmers market on the weekend etc.
