We are a family living in a large house in the Barnwell area of Cambridge, just off Newmarket Road, very near Marshalls / the airport. We currently have a room available for a lodger - it's a large furnished downstairs bedroom. We have two sons and a dog (a Bedlington terrier) but largely keep to our own part of the house - the lodgers (yourself plus another two) have their own fridge, food storage area, washing machine, dryer and the use of the larger bathroom - our family have our own. Our dog is very friendly, so if you like dogs then you would probably be a good fit. We also have a large garden, and two driveways. If you take the bus, we are on a number of bus routes into the centre, and if you cycle then it's easy to get to either the centre, the Addenbrookes site or either railway station, and ARU is just down the road. The boiler is new, so the heating works very well, and we have high speed internet with a connection just outside the room. Your share of bills (council tax, gas, electricity, water, internet and TV) add up to about £170 per month, so the "real" price here is £480 - so already very reasonable and therefore non-negotiable.
