We have a furnished spare room in our house near Girton College in Cambridge. It is a double bedroom with a double bed including wardrobe, office desk and chair. The brand new carpet and underlay insulation were just laid in January 2026.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. It takes
- 14 minutes to cycle to the city centre (market square) and Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics
- 12 minutes to cycle to the West Cambridge Site, British Antarctic Survey and Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital
- 8 minutes to cycle to Crop Science Centre the Uni. of Cambridge

It is within 2 minutes’ walk to the local food store (Co-op) and the bus stop where the bus goes to the city centre.

The room is located at the back of the main house and has a view of a large mature back garden with a pond and flowers. Access to the room is through a separate entry.

The rent includes council tax band E, electricity, gas and water bills, TV license and internet broadband.
