Hello! We're looking for friendly, sociable housemate for an affordable and cosy double room in a shared house just off Newmarket Road - close to the City Center, the river (Stourbridge Common) and North Cambridge train station. The room is available for 1 April 2026 and ideally long-term tenants preferred!

You will be joining a group of girls and guys in their twenties and thirties. The room has a double bed, spacious mirrored wardrobes providing plenty of storage, blackout blinds and a desk and a chair. The room is on the first floor to the front of the property.

The house is a clean and tidy where people are respectful. There are two large shared bathrooms, a shared kitchen with plenty of storage units, gas range cooker, dishwasher spacious worktop area, a large refrigerator, freezer as well as washing/drying facilities.

The location is very central, just off Newmarket Road, close to supermarkets and shops. It’s a seven minute cycle into City Centre and a stone’s throw from the River Cam. If you commute, it’s only a 10 minute walk to the train station via Chisholm trail (<5 minutes by bike), and there are Voi scooter parking spaces close to the house.

Outside the house, there is a roofed patio and large back garden, and plenty of bicycle storage available in the back, including in a secured shed. There are several parking spaces available in front of the house, and plenty of off-road parking in a quiet residential area.

A fortnightly cleaning service and broadband are included in the rent, as are all other utilities. (This includes electricity, council tax (Band C), water and gas.) Professionals preferred, but we will consider mature/graduate students based on fit to the rest of the house. Sorry we don't allow pets.
