We are two adults in our late-20’s looking for a new flatmate to join us in our lovely 3-bedroom apartment from 31st August!
About the Room:
The available room comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The current tenant can offer his desk if needed. It offers plenty of natural light and good air ventilation from the window, from where you can see the city landmarks everyday.
About the Apartment:
Our apartment is located in a high-rise building in a quiet neighbourhood with a local primary school, featuring excellent facilities and amenities, including:
- Spacious living room
- Balcony with a stunning skyline view
- High-speed Wi-Fi
- Washing machine and microwave
- Storage room in the hallway
We have a shared bathroom and toilet is separate from the bathroom. The apartment is always kept clean and tidy. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine and fridge, and we have bought a microwave, an airfryer, a toaster and a rice cooker to share.
About Us:
You'll be living with two other flatmates:
- Feng works full-time at the V&A Museum, enjoys all kinds of art, cooking, hiking and roller skating.
- Kem works full-time as a videographer, enjoys football, running, films and photography.
We are both relaxed and open-minded, happy to have a chat in the living room and sometimes organise a nice dinner for friends at the flat or going out for a drink. We are looking for someone with good energy, who’d like to be friends, and can maintain the order and cleanliness of the flat.
Location:
Our apartment is conveniently located near major transport links, making it easy to get around the city. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the nearest bus station, and 10-20 minutes to Canary Wharf underground / Elizabeth line / DLR stations. There are many shops including Tesco, Coop, Asda and Tian Tian Market nearby; You can find M&S, Waitrose, John Lewis, as well as lots of restaurants, cafes and clothing shops from the shopping malls next to Canary Wharf station. Everything you need is right at your doorstep!
Rent and Bills:
The rent for the room is £745 per month. Bills and council tax are not included and are shared:
- Electricity and gas cost around £17 per month per person, with any differences settled at the end of the year.
- Council tax (Band B) costs around £37 per month per person
- Internet costs around £13 per month per person
- Water costs around £19 per month per person
- Deposit is to be confirmed with the agent but will be approximately 5 weeks rent.
- Parking may be available at an additional cost.
