I’m Sam, a world traveller, creative artist and tech professional from New York who, since lockdown, settled in Canterbury to be closer to family.

I'm very easy going, clean living, a go getter who’s committed to her personal growth/development and someone who believes in respect for healthy boundaries and clear, open & honest communication.

I work from home mostly, writing, collaborating with others, studying/training online and I also teach/coach others. My intention in creating this space is in it being a safe, inspiring haven that cultivates a positive, healthy mindset; an overall sense of wellbeing, which since I occasionally board pets, extends to the comfort and welfare of animals as a priority too.

This is a lovely, light filled home. It's quietly located within walking distance to Kent Uni, Canterbury City Center, public transport & free parking outside, fully furnished, with high ceilings, 1.5 bathrooms, a spacious living area, open plan kitchen, conservatory & garden, as well as Washing Machine, Central Heating, Broadband Internet & more.

I am looking for a roommate who’s maybe also fairly practical, has a good sense of humor, is also friendly, clean and conscientious, likes animals, appreciates music, art & has a positive outlook on life too.

Perhaps a mature student or professional woman like with some similar interests/common experiences?

Since we’d be living in very close quarters & sharing communal spaces, purely for practicality’s sake, I’d prefer renting to another woman. I am willing to be flexible however, for the right person.

This really is a very special space & quite unique, So finding the right person is worth the wait - someone who will also enjoy living here and appreciate this as home too.

The double-room itself is freshly decorated and has lots of storage.

The rent includes some bills and is based on one occupant.

The landlord will require:

- 5 Weeks rent deposit to secure the room.
