Hi everyone! I have a spacious master bedroom in a quiet house off Coity Road, quiet cul de sac location. It has its own kitchen corner and own bathroom. The house is shared with me and my very friendly, quiet greyhound - so it’s for animal lovers only.

The reason that availability is Mon-Fri is purely because that’s been the pattern with my previous lodgers, and as it has always worked splendidly well, I’m continuing with it - but please don’t worry: NO ONE will ever sleep in your room or use your bathroom; your rooms are exclusively yours. Also, you are absolutely welcome (and encouraged!) to stay the weekend if, for example, there were adverse weather conditions or any other reason you’d be stuck!

This would be a perfect home from home for someone working in Bridgend during the week. We are on a bus route, only 1 mile from the M4, and a 10’ walk from the train or bus station.

The room has a double wardrobe, chest of drawers, armchair, shelves, small table, 4ft bed (small double).
Kitchen corner )with microwave, toaster, kettle, little fridge and freezer); ironing board, iron, clothes airer, hoover and mop are also all provided. Bedding and towels.

Use of washing machine in the kitchen.

You’re welcome to park on my driveway if you’d like to; otherwise there are always spaces available on Cemetery Road.

I am a friendly and caring person, but also quiet and reserved, so you’ll always have your space and won’t get disturbed. I have a no-visitors policy in place for lodging, as I’d feel uncomfortable with people I don’t know. I would love to share with a fellow introvert, but I also absolutely love a chat and a giggle, and will do my best to make sure you’re snug and comfortable here with us.

I am clean and tidy (at least, I aim to be!), and look for the same in a housemate; I will expect you to keep your rooms in a good clean condition.

There is no TV in the house (yes, none at all! I’m weird!), so please note you will need your own TV licence if you intend to watch the BBC or live programmes.

Gas, electric, water, internet, council tax are all included.

I ask for a deposit at the time of booking, which will be kept safely and separately from my personal account; I also provide a standard lodger agreement. No references required, just a chat to see how we mesh.

Payment is strictly one month in advance by bank transfer. Notice period is one week.
