The room features a charming log-burning stove, a comfortable double sofa, and a TV, and is furnished to a high standard throughout. The kitchen/dining area, living space, bathroom, and a garden that extends into surrounding woodland are all shared. An additional ground-floor wet room is currently planned and will be installed within the next few months.

I currently work away and am only home for a few days every few weeks. My elderly father also lives here and typically retires upstairs to his room around 5:30pm. We are animal lovers and have two cats, so any prospective lodger must be comfortable sharing the home with them. Ideally I am looking for someone who would be willing to feed the cats in an event of an emergency and any such help would of course be compensated.

There is plenty of free on-road parking available, and a bus stop with frequent services is conveniently located right outside the property.

The room includes utility bills (within reason), broadband, council tax and a weekly cleaner.
