A comfortable, fully furnished double room is available in my modern two-bedroom home just off Cathedral Road, within easy walking distance of Pontcanna, Bute Park and Cardiff city centre.

This isn't a big anonymous houseshare — you'd just be sharing with me, so I'm looking for someone I'll genuinely get along with and who wants somewhere that feels like home.

The flat has a spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, modern bathrooms, plenty of natural light and a relaxed, well-kept feel. The bedroom is furnished as pictured, with a double bed and good storage.

I'm a research scientist at Cardiff Medical School. I'm sociable and happy to chat, have a drink, cook, watch something together or head out occasionally, but I also appreciate having our own space and downtime.

It's an LGBTQ+ friendly home and anyone is welcome, who is friendly, relaxed and respectful. More important than ticking a particular box, though, is finding someone whose personality and lifestyle fit the household.
