Small double room available in Pontcanna available from early June (current tenant moved out end of May) opposite Lllandaff Fields - happy to be flexible for start date.


would prefer shorter term lets - say rolling or 3-6 months but will consider longer with appropriate notice clause. Very flexible in this regard.

Also fine with Mon-Fri let option - sheets and towels can provided/washed at £500 pm for 5 day or 7 days at £600 pm depending on the applicants circumstances & how much they will be around.

Room contains a single/double bed with storage and desk and storage cupboard - please note the photos are a bit out of date and the room is not currently cluttered. Kitchen space provided.

Please note - I work from home full-time with two dogs (so need to be comfortable with dogs - they are very friendly and a new puppy) so may not suit someone who also works from home full time as well as I am often on calls but would consider it.
It also means the lounge cannot be used much as I work in there, particularly 9am-6pm and sometimes later.

There is separate access to the room via the garden as so not to disturb me. No issues with kitchen/bathroom access.

No smoking / couples / visitors (without consent).

Garden access with space for a bike, shared bathroom and kitchen.

The property is sold but as I would also be looking for a lodger when I move to another (larger) property in the Pontcanna area any lodger will be welcome to move to the new property if I move with no change to cost .

Can provide a reference from current/prior lodgers if required.

About me: Currently work in finance for a number of years, having completed a science PhD and masters many years ago and briefly worked in environmental consultancy and a former semi-pro ice hockey netminder.
Some interests are along the lines of: being active (jogging, gym, hiking, dog walks etc), history (I'm a big reader), various other boring things like NT houses, historic sites, football (follow Wales) and a keen (but not very good) gardener and have an allotment.
